SDTR Marine is opting to use low-sulphur fuel oil (LSFO) on its fleet to meet the upcoming IMO 2020 regulations.
“In the short-term, we understand there will be a price difference between high-sulphur fuel oil [HSFO] and LSFO," company general manager Gao Dehui said. "But we believe the price difference will not continue for a long time as oil companies will be producing LSFO to meet shipping requirements.
