Seanergy Maritime Holdings has sold its two latest vessel buys in leaseback deals and has fixed another of its capesize bulk carriers on long-term charter.
The New York-listed shipowner on Wednesday said it has sold the 181,709-dwt Patriotship (built 2010) and the 181,325-dwt Hellasship (built 2012) to an unnamed "major Chinese financial institution".
The duo, which were paid for with cash early this year, will be leased back on five-year bareboat deals for $30.9m
