A ship’s cook has confessed to his part in the attempted smuggling of 469 kg of cocaine on a Greek bulker in Argentina.
The drugs were found on the 82,000-dwt kamsarmax Ceci (built 2009) at the port of San Lorenzo, Argentinean authorities said.
La Nacion reported that the cook told authorities the cocaine was brought on board off Montevideo in Uruguay.
