Vessel traffic in the St Lawrence Seaway is moving freely despite a Canada Steamship Lines (CSL) bulk carrier running aground Sunday night while underway to Quebec City.
The 35,400-dwt Rt Hon Paul J Martin grounded about 1.2 miles from Cardinal, Ontario, while carrying iron ore, the Canadian owner said.
"Traffic is moving," St Lawrence Seaway Development Corp spokesman Christopher Guimond told TradeWinds.
