Nova Marine Carriers is expanding beyond its traditional roots in the steel sector.
The Swiss-Italian bulker operator is moving “out of its comfort zone” and expanding into the grain business, chief executive Vincenzo Romeo said.
A new grain desk will start operations in Geneva in September. It will be headed by Cedric Lopresti, a former trader on the handysize desk of Louis Dreyfus Commodities.
