Rapidly expanding W Marine has veered off its usual strategy to add an 11th ship to its fleet.
The Yiannis Sarantitis-founded company tends to order or buy young kamsarmaxes and post-panamaxes. However, last week it took delivery of an older and smaller ship paid for more than two months ago.
The 76,700-dwt Nord Galaxy (built 2006) entered the W Marine fleet under its new name, W-Galaxy.
