The captain and mate of a Red Funnel ro-pax have been suspended following its grounding after a collision with yachts.
The incident involving the 4,100-gt Red Falcon (built 1994) happened off East Cowes on Sunday morning, the BBC reported.
Red Funnel said the suspensions were "standard industry practice".
A Marine Accident Investigation Branch (MAIB) investigation has begun.
The officers will remain off duty until this is completed.
