A Lebanese bulker has grounded in a storm off Russia.
Kuban News cited the press service of the ministry of internal affairs as saying the 17,800-dwt Rio (built 1985) was forced ashore near Novorossiysk on 12 December.
There were 21 crew on board, but no injuries were reported.
The captain had requested a tow to enter the port, but bad weather prevented help reaching the vessel.
