The UK coast guard has successfully coordinated the refloating of a Russian bulker off the UK coast.

Murmansk Shipping's 23,200-dwt Kuzma Minin (built 1980) got stuck off Cornwall on Tuesday morning, the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) said.

It dragged its anchor and grounded on the western side of the port entrance between Swanpool and Gyllyngvase beaches, it added.
