All 18 crew have been rescued after their vessel sank in heavy weather off Mangalore, India.
The 14,400-dwt general cargoship Asian Forest (built 2007) began listing on Friday morning and finally sank six miles from the port.
The Indian Coast Guard has put into action a plan to contain any pollution that might arise from the incident.
