About 90 people were reported missing after a ro-pax capsized off Cameroon.
The 750-gt Austrheim (built 1971) got into difficulty off Bakassi overnight on 26 August in rough seas, the army said.
It added there were nearly 200 people on board.
Of these, 107 were rescued, but three female bodies were recovered and transferred to the port of Bota.
The Delta Special Protection Group and the navy carried out rescue operations.
