Belgian owner CLdN has confirmed that a serious fire on a ro-ro last month started in a car.
But the company has ruled out the culprit being a fully electric vehicle, it said in a new statement.
The Malta-flagged 7,800-lane-metre Delphine (built 2018) suffered the blaze at the Belgian port of Zeebrugge on 16 April.
