France has canceled two naval missions due to Covid-19, including one to the Gulf of Guinea, according to a report in the Financial Times.

The country's navy has routinely been supporting efforts in the West African waters to combat piracy, but an outbreak on one of its aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle and 5,000 potential infections across its armed forces has reportedly changed things.
