A captain has died after staying on board his sinking offshore support vessel until all his crew were evacuated.
Egyptian media said the 5,200-hp Inspecta7 (built 1999), operated by domestic company Inspecta International Group, was lost on Wednesday morning off Ras Ghareb in the Red Sea.
Master Yousry Sultan reportedly drowned as he oversaw the rescue of his crew.
