Fuel has leaked after a collision off Corsica between a Cyprus Sea Lines (CSL) boxship and a Cotunav ro-pax.
The incident involving the 5,018-teu CSL Virginia (built 2005) and the 17,900-gt ferry Ulysse (built 1997) occurred on Sunday, local media reported.
French ecology minister Francois de Rugy told BFM TV on Monday: "The leak is under control."
