Concern in the marine insurance world that travel and quarantine restrictions to stop the global spread of coronavirus will constrain salvage operations appear to be unfounded.
The International Salvage Union (ISU) recently told the industry that salvors could continue to operate as usual, while a recent series of Lloyd’s Open Forum (LOF) instructions in March indicate emergency response services remain active.
