Three fishermen are missing in the Black Sea near Istanbul as their boat sank after colliding with a passing tanker.

The incident occurred at 06:35 am local time (0335 GMT) on Friday off Kilyos, a village at the north entrance of the Bosphorus, Istanbul’s governorship said in a statement on its website.

The 138-gt fishing vessel Dursun Ali Coskun (built 1985) collided with the 6,200-dwt chemical tanker Glard-2 (built 2013), according to the statement.
