Piracy is showing no signs of slowing down in the Gulf of Guinea, but the international community might not be able to muster the necessary response to stop it.
Speaking at the Hellenic-American/Norwegian-American Chambers of Commerce Joint Shipping Conference in New York Tuesday, Quinella Global founder Thomas Sheehy said global powers came together to fight off Somali pirates, but are largely disinterested in pirates on the other side of the continent.
