The Zero Emissions Buyers Alliance (Zemba), a low-carbon shippers coalition that includes Amazon and Ikea, has launched its second tender focusing on e-fuels.

Container carriers and operators are invited to bid for the three to five-year shipping contract beginning in 2027.

Zemba puts the size of the contract at 86bn tonne-miles, or the equivalent of 1.5m
