An early investment by Astra Shipmanagement, the company of the Martinos family's Aris and Stefanos Koropoulis, has proven remarkably profitable.

The 1,732-teu Anassa (built 2006), acquired by Astra in early 2017 for about $7.4m, was the first containership purchase for the outfit after it set up shop in Greece three years earlier.

Broking sources in Athens and London report that liner giant CMA CGM is now in the process of purchasing the vessel for nearly triple that price, changing hands for about $20m.
