Container freight rates continue to strengthen as lines draw up fresh plans to cut capacity from the transpacific and Asia-Europe trades.
More than 4m teu of capacity has already been blanked in the year to date, according to analyst Sea-Intelligence.
That is more than three times the volume of sailings blanked over Chinese New Year, when liner operators traditionally cull capacity.
