Danaos expects coronavirus uncertainty to be 'short-term'

Danaos Corp is feeling negative effects from the coronavirus as the disease slows the world economy but expects a brief downturn followed by a surge in pent-up demand.

The deadly virus climbed to 40,554 cases Monday, 40,235 being in China where it was first discovered in December. It has taken 910 lives so far, according to the World Health Organization.
