Eastern Pacific Shipping is cashing in on the red-hot containership market with the sale of two feederships.

The Idan Ofer-controlled company has sold the Chinese-built, 2,564-teu Glacier Bay (built 2009) and the 2,578-teu Coronado Bay (built 2008) en-bloc to France's CMA CGM for $80m.

The vessels take the tally of secondhand acquisitions by CMA CGM — the third largest liner operator — to about 38 vessels in the past 12 months.
