Germany's Hapag-Lloyd has increased its third quarter profit as rates were pushed up.

The boxship owner said the net result to 30 September was €150m ($165m), from €113m a year ago.

Revenue jumped to €3.24bn against €3.05bn, despite a slight dip in volumes in the three months as it achieved a rate per teu of $1,084 versus $1,055 in 2018.
