AP Moller-Maersk has upgraded its earnings forecast for the third time this year.

The giant Danish carrier expects Ebitda for the whole of 2020 in the range of $8bn and $8.5bn, before restructuring and integration costs.

The upgrade is due to increased momentum in the fourth quarter of global container volumes and freight rates.

It is based on preliminary financial figures for October and comes ahead of interim results to be published on 18 November.
