NYK Line's income and profits have soared in the first quarter of the current financial year, on the back of the continued strong performance of liner subsidiary Ocean Network Express (ONE).
The Tokyo-headquartered company said net income was ¥151bn ($1.3bn) in the three-month period, up from ¥11.6bn in the first quarter of the 2020 financial year. Operating income was up by 492% to ¥53bn.
