South Korea’s K-Alliance — a tie-up involving HMM, SM Line and Pan Ocean — is launching its first service, which will sail between South Korea, China, Vietnam and Thailand.

The CVT service will call at Incheon, Qingdao, Shanghai, Ho Chi Minh City, Laem Chabang, Chiwan and Incheon.

The three companies are contributing one container ship each, with HMM providing the 1,809-teu Sky Rainbow (built 2022), SM Line the 1,708-teu Jan (built 2010) and Pan Ocean the 1,811-teu Pos Hochiminh (built 2020).
