Lindsay Malen-Habib has become the American Salvage Association's (ASA) first female president after serving the entity for more than a decade.

Malen-Habib, who began serving as president on Tuesday, was previously secretary-treasurer and vice president of the ASA, which is based in Alexandria, Virginia.

She is also Resolve Marine Group’s manager of client services based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

She has more than 15 years of experience in maritime emergency response, business development and marketing.
