Carnival Corp has yet another major problem on its hands as it navigates through a pandemic that has brought the company and entire cruise sector to its knees.
The Arnold Donald-led owner of 90 laid-up vessels said Monday it detected a ransomware attack that partially accessed and encrypted one brand’s information technology systems.
The attack, which included download of certain data files, should not have a "material impact" on the company's business, operations or financial results, it said.
