Greek ferry operators Attica and Nobel send oldest ropaxes for recycling

Attica Group and Nobel Maritime have called time on two stalwarts of Greece's ferry trades.

Attica subsidiary Hellenic Seaways Maritime has sold the 8,153-gt ropax Express Pegasus (built 1977) for recycling in Turkey, while Nobel Maritime's 12,705-gt ropax Bari (built 1980) was beached in Chattogram, Bangladesh, this week as the Gabon-flag Altair after passing in quick succession through two Dubai-based companies.
