US vice president Mike Pence has shown support for the cruise sector's eagerness to resume sailing in a safe manner alongside the coronavirus pandemic.
On Friday, he led a call with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) officials and industry leaders to discuss the virus' impact on cruising.
He also talked about the CDC's no-sail order banning passengerships from US waters to 31 October.
