Thai authorities have rescinded permission granted on Monday that would have allowed a Holland America Line cruiseship caught up in the coronavirus scare to finally disembark its passengers

The Carnival Corp subsidiary announced yesterday that the 82,900-gt Westerdam (built 2004) would be heading to the Thai port of Laem Chabang to disembark its 1,455 passengers, none of whom have displayed any coronavirus symptoms and are, according to the company, in good health.
