China is seen as the better place to build and operate shipyards compared to its neighbours and rivals Japan and South Korea, a leading shipbroker contends.
“The country’s extensive coastline and abundant labour force would be the drawing points for investors who are keen on building new shipyard facilities there,” said Even Winje, managing director of Winmar.
