TradeWinds, the shipping industry's leading international publication, has established an office in the booming Chinese metropolis of Shanghai as part of its continuing development programme.

Reporter Guan Xinhua, with long experience of covering the Far East from China and Hong Kong for the Singapore Straits Times, will man the office on the editorial side. A sales-and-marketing team will join her later in the year.
