Chengxi Shipyard of China has been picked for Korea Line Corporation's (KLC) new bulker order.

The company said last week it was paying KRW 110.7bn ($98m) for the ships at an overseas shipbuilder.

UK broker Clarksons says the 82,000-dwt kamsarmax vessels have gone to Chengxi for delivery in April, July and October 2019, and January 2020.

The company described the price as uniquely low and aims to use them for coal transport.
