James Chao-controlled Foremost Maritime is continuing to bolster its fleet with newbuildings.
The New York-based shipping company has spent an additional $190m on newcastlemax bulker newbuildings at Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding (SWS), tripling the number of vessels there to six.
Shipbuilding players familiar with the New York-based shipowner said Foremost has added four more 210,000-dwt bulk carriers at the Chinese state-owned shipyard, as TradeWinds reported online.
