Two ships in the fleet of Chinese bulker owner Maple Leaf Shipping are being circulated for sale but TradeWinds understands the offer is meant to test the market after a rise in prices.
Brokers are circulating the Yangzhou Guoyu-built, 56,700-dwt Maple Ruby and 57,000-dwt Maple Opal (ex-OSW1 and OSW2, both built 2010). The Maple Opal is passing Gibraltar this week and Maple Ruby the Philippines.
