Greece’s Seanergy Maritime Holdings has accepted an $18,000 per day cut as it re-fixed a 2007-built handysize.

The Nasdaq-listed company said the 30,100-dwt bulker Clipper Glory (built 2007) was chartered for between 11 and 13 months at $7,000 per day for the first 60 days.

After that the rate is linked to the adjusted time charter average of the Baltic Handysize Index, which dropped $9 to $10,405 on Monday.

The vessel is listed on Seanergy’s website as having a deal with Clipper Bulk paying $25,000 per day until August. The new deal began at the end of June.

The owner now has 80% contract cover for 2012 and 26% for 2013.
