Cypriot shipowner FrontMarine is aiming for a major expansion of its bulker fleet.
The Lemissoler Group company, which currently has eight supramax bulkers on the water, is poised to triple its fleet with newbuildings ordered at China's New Times Shipbuilding.
Shipbuilding players say FrontMarine has placed a firm order for eight ultramaxes with options for another eight, bringing the total potential order to $400m.
