Indonesia-based shipbroking veteran Michael Drachmann has launched a shipbroking and agency company in Jakarta.
Telesto Maritime Indonesia kicks off with three employees but will add more as the business grows.
While shipbroking is its main focus, sister companies have been set up to handle port agency, shipmanagement for tugs and barges, and coal surveying.
Drachmann has 21 years' experience in the Indonesian shipping scene, 16 of which were spent as head of SSY’s Jakarta office.
