Oslo-based freight consultant and shipbroker Bery Maritime increased its revenue by one-third last year, but the privately-owned firm saw dropping profits and the payment of an extraordinary dividend.

Company president Christian Rynning said the reduced profit partly is a result of fertiliser-focused Bery recruiting more people. The company now has a staff of 32 in its offices in Oslo, Lima, Shenzhen and Singapore.
