Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners has been linked to a sale of Canadian group Tidewater Holdings.

The company, which operates as Tidewater Transportation & Terminals, has a fleet of eight double-hulled tanker barges and 62 grain units, plus terminals.

It could cost $500m, according to sources cited by Bloomberg.

Stonepeak is not commenting.

Vancouver-based Tidewater T&T transports petroleum products, waste, grain and woodchips.
