Japan's MOL has taken delivery of a new bulker that has found work with Singapore's JERA Trading.
The 91,000-dwt Oi Maru was built at Imari by Namura Shipbuilding.
The coal carrier - a "Hekinanmax" - has a wide-beam and shallow-draft configuration and a wide range of advanced safety and energy-saving features, the owner said.
It will carry cargoes to Chubu Electric Power's Hekinan thermal power plant in Aichi, Japan.
