Brokers expect that there will be strong demand for the four handysize bulkers that Eastern Pacific has begun circulating on the second-hand markets.

The Japanese built quartet, comprising of the 28,000-dwt Irongate (built 2015), and the 29,200-dwt vessels Crystalgate (built 2010), Stargate and Westgate (both built 2011) are described as being prime purchase candidates for Greek and Chinese buyers.

That the company prefers to sell them as an en bloc deal is indicative that the Singapore-based company wants a quick exit from the sector.
