Finland's Meriaura Group is expanding its fleet again by acquiring two German cargoships.
The company's VG-Shipping has snapped up the 4,200-dwt Aava VG (ex Nemuna, built 1998) and Lotta VG (ex Visurgis, built 1997) from Shipcom Bereederungs.
They are sisterships of a vessel already operated by VG.
They are 1A ice-classed for shipments in the Baltic Sea and North Sea.
