Greek owner Evalend Shipping has denied there is any problem on one of its bulkers in Australia following ITF claims that its crew was starving.
A seafarer on the 82,000-dwt Villa Deste (built 2018) allegedly contacted the union from BHP's Hay Point terminal in Mackay claiming they were being underpaid.
Evalend told TradeWinds the ITF's information was inaccurate.
