A Norwegian start-up with major backing has revealed a new project to ship compressed green hydrogen in containers.
Havrand, owned by energy company Hydro, has teamed up with oil major Shell and renewables group Eviny to target a launch date of 2025 of exports from Haugalandet district.
The green fuel will be produced near to a port and moved out on 20-foot boxes by ro-ro and lo-lo vessels.
