Capital Research Global Investors has lessened its interest in Golar LNG, removing its status as one of the US-listed company's major shareholders.
The Los Angeles-based financial services firm has sold 5.48 million shares of the Iain Ross-led LNG vessel player, lowering its ownership to 3.7% from 9.2% as of March, according to a regulatory filing.
The total value of the divested stock equals $139.3m
