Danish ro-ro group DFDS has said freight volumes are falling ahead of Brexit.
It blamed the lack of detail around the UK's leaving of the EU for a "headwind" in the third quarter.
"Freight revenue was subdued by a slowdown related to increased uncertainty on Brexit," it said.
"In northern Europe, businesses and consumers require clarity on Brexit for growth to continue," added CEO Niels Smedegaard.
