Cyprus is considering getting rid of ship registration fees to lure more owners to the island.
Deputy minister for shipping Natasa Pilides has briefed the House transport committee on new draft regulations approved by the cabinet, the Cyprus Mail reported.
The new pricing policy provides for the rounding and grouping of fees, as well as the cancellation of the initial registration payment.
